We’re looking for a freelance Administrative Assistant to work full- or part-time (10-40 hours/week), who is capable of taking ownership over the company’s administrative work. Your role will be to take over administrative tasks so that our team can focus its time on design.

You’ll be expected to take the lead on

Recording meeting notes and distributing to meeting participants
Processing payments for vendors and service providers
General online research
Registering staff for events and courses
Invoicing clients
Preparing contracts for clients and vendors
Scheduling meetings
Booking travel
Organizing expense receipts
Responding to inquiries
Coordinating photoshoots

Social Media Marketer

This role is 100% remote. Work from anywhere.

Do you know how to grow audiences and raise brand awareness through social? If so, you might be the perfect candidate for the Social Media Marketer position with Kurani. We’re looking for a freelance social media guru to work full- or part-time (10-40 hours/week) and remotely.

As a Social Media Marketer, you will play a key role in increasing brand visibility and recognition, driving conversions through social channels, expanding follower base across platforms, optimizing content for audience retention, building relationships with followers, and driving social media referrals to our website. You will also be tasked with growing the personal audience of our founder, Danish Kurani, a key figure in social impact design.

You’ll be expected to take the lead on

creating and owning social media strategy
high-level decisions about campaign direction
connecting social efforts to broader marketing goals
managing campaign budgets and ROI
creating visual content that highlights Kurani projects and community impact, while also showcasing our founder’s ideas on design, architecture, and social change
managing day-to-day social media operations including content creation, community engagement, and performance tracking
managing the editorial calendar, ensuring timely and consistent posting across all social channels
monitoring social media trends to ensure we stay relevant and engaging
analyzing social media performance and adjusting strategies to continuously grow our audience

You’d be a good fit if you have/are

5+ years of experience in social media marketing with brands or influencers
worked with both individuals and companies to grow their audiences
a proven track record of increasing brand awareness
familiarity with metrics and tracking KPIs (CTR, engagement, conversions)
strong portfolio showcasing expertise
up-to-date with the latest social media trends and tools

Interior Designer

Kurani is seeking a talented Interior Designer to join our growing team. This is a fully remote position that may be filled on either a full-time or part-time basis. Creating interior layouts that complement the architectural design while addressing circulation, usability, and operational needs.
Producing 3D models of interior spaces, renderings, and presentation materials to communicate design intent.
Design custom millwork and built-in elements that enhance the overall project.
Develop lighting concepts and furniture layouts that support the design vision.
Select interior materials, finishes, fixtures, and furnishings appropriate to the project’s aesthetic and functional requirements.
Collaborate closely with project architects throughout the design process.
Participate in client presentations, design reviews, and interdisciplinary coordination as needed.

Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and clients to understand project requirements and design intent
Prepare design concepts and presentations for clients and stakeholders
Oversee the production of construction documents, including plans, elevations, sections, and details
Ensure design solutions meet building codes and zoning regulations
Coordinate with consultants and engineering teams to integrate various design disciplines
Maintain project schedules and budgets, and ensure design quality throughout the project lifecycle
Lead and mentor junior design staff in developing innovative and functional design solutions

Manage all phases of architectural projects, including programming, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration

Conduct regular project meetings and provide progress reports to clients and stakeholders
