Kurani

Having grown up in Riverdale, our lead architect Danish Kurani brought intimate knowledge of the community’s needs. In an area where 94% of residents are people of color and poverty rates soar 50-100% above the national average, we recognized that this project needed to be more than just a building—it needed to be a catalyst for change.

We designed an innovative learning environment that serves as both an educational facility and a community anchor. The building’s distinctive wooden structure and exterior feature intricate carved details, deliberately chosen to inspire students’ creativity and demonstrate the power of craftsmanship.

Our design transforms the campus into a beacon of opportunity. The building not only houses specialized learning spaces but also serves as a community hub, offering after-hours access for recreation and workshops.

By creating this world-class educational facility in Riverdale, we’re helping DuBois Integrity Academy fulfill its mission of providing STEM-focused education with rigor and compassion. The building stands as a testament to our belief that educational infrastructure is America’s most vital investment. In an area dominated by fast food and strip malls, this new facility provides students with an inspiring environment that can help shape their future success.
